Real Dames Guide to the New Site

Real Dames has had a face-lift. I figured if I’m not going to get one, my website is. The photo above is how I see myself and my Dame friends, no matter what our age, because we rock.

Many thanks to Andrew Bossola of Oasis Creative who customized the site. If you EVER need a website developed or improved, the man is a genius. He can do anything, including putting up with a menopausal client who forgets everything he tells her within 2.5 minutes.

What is Real Dames? It is the Algonquin Round Table of women (and some very welcomed men) sharing their funny stories and heart-felt opinions about life. I like to think of myself as the Dorothy Parker of the table, without the unhappy ending.

Realdames.com Guide

Here’s a review of each of the different areas within this new site.

Dame Community: Because I  love all of the Dames that have joined me along the way, I’m expanding to give you all more of a chance to interact.

We have an exciting forum community where you can weigh in on certain topics. To use the Community, all you have to do is go to the page and follow the instructions. You will have to register to be part of the community, but we’ve made it very quick and easy.

  • If you have any questions that you would like to have addressed in our Dame Community, please send them to me at [email protected]. I will be asking for them periodically on our Facebook Fan Page. My first six questions came from Dame suggestions, and I thank each of you!

About: If you want to know more about me, please click on the About tab where I embarrass my family by talking about them.

Speaking/Coaching: If you are interested in having me speak, or need some change coaching, or are interested in having me present a workshop or write a blog for you, the information is under the Speaking/Coaching tab, plus there’s a humongous button in the middle of the home page that cannot be avoided. Hey, this is where I make money.

Media: If you want me in 3D, hit the Media tab. That’s where my latest interviews, videos, and/or radio blogcasts are located

Contact:  If you want to reach out to me with an idea, or a question, or a keen desire to have me speak at your next event or coach you, go here. I’m an extrovert. I’m all about the contact.

Home: And, if you tap your ruby slippers together three times or click on this tab, you will go here. This is where I house my latest blogs as well as offer advertising. Know anybody who wants to reach a group of people who make about 80% of the purchasing decisions? Let them know about Realdames.com!

Do check out all of my pretty, colorful social media buttons to the upper right and follow me on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Pinterest. I will return the favor.

At the left-bottom of the page is Me in the Webosphere, which provides links to the other places that I blog.

To the right of Me in the Webosphere is my Good Online Reads, where each month I will provide links to six of my favorite blogs. If you’re on there and don’t want to be, please don’t yell at me. Just send me an email to [email protected] and I’ll remove you immediately. But know that I like you. I really like you.

Then there is My Book, which is, well, my book. It was written for my corporate clients and includes interesting, usually humorous stories about change with lessons about how to lead it. I have e-books coming your way soon that will play more to the Dame humor side of me.

And if you are craving more of Real Dames and want the Archives, they’re at the lower right in tiny orange writing.

Whew, I think that’s enough. I’m sure I’ve confused you at least twice, but I’m glad you’re here, and if you have any questions at all let me know. Call me. Let’s do lunch. In the meantime, take a seat at our Round Table and hang out with these amazing, fabulous people.

And get ready to laugh!
